Studio Zero’s Metaphor: ReFantazio and Bloober Crew’s Silent Hill 2 remake each launch subsequent week. Whereas the previous’s overview embargo is unknown (the latter is allegedly on October 4th), each have already acquired their first opinions from Famitsu.
Silent Hill 2 acquired a 35 out of 40 and takes 16 to 18 hours to clear, lining up with the developer’s estimate for a median playthrough. It acquired reward for its visuals, ambiance, characterization, and puzzles. In the meantime, Metaphor: ReFantazio acquired a 37 out of 40, with opinions describing its feeling as “nearly the identical because the Persona sequence.”
Almost every part – from the battle system and presentation to the story-telling – was acquired positively.
