It Takes Two and A Method Out developer Hazelight Studios is seemingly teasing a reveal for its subsequent recreation, a brand new IP. Just like the developer’s different titles, will probably be revealed by EA Originals in “202?” The post-it be aware has the phrases, “Final_final_3_Mdown_13”, a play on ultimate cuts by video editors that might seemingly level to an upcoming trailer.
In a separate tweet, founder Josef Fares mentioned he “can’t wait to indicate it quickly” and that it’s referred to as “S*** ******N.” And no, it doesn’t spell “Star Citizen” (the second phrase has an additional letter).
It’s not the primary time Hazelight or Fares have teased their subsequent launch. In April, the studio mentioned it had some “new (actual good) stuff cooking” that it might focus on this 12 months. Fares would later declare that the following title could be “even higher than It Takes Two” and that individuals could be “blown away.” One factor is for positive: This new IP is one other co-op journey, as confirmed by Digital Arts in one other tweet.
An announcement in October or November, adopted by a reveal in December at The Sport Awards, wouldn’t be too farfetched (particularly given Fares’s historical past with the latter). Keep tuned for updates.
Within the meantime, It Takes Two was introduced to have offered 20 million copies since launching in March 2021.
