Paramount and Sega have graced us with a brand new trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 at the moment, and a bit unexpectedly, there is a reference to Pokemon in it.
It has been a few months because the first trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 dropped, however with the movie releasing in a couple of month’s time, followers have clearly been eagerly awaiting one other one. If that is you, it is your fortunate day! Because the second official trailer for the upcoming threequel was dropped by Paramount earlier at the moment, and itβ¦ properly, it has a child in it asking if Tails is Detective Pikachu, which 1. they’ll do this, 2. caught me off guard (in a great way!), and three. actually has me questioning what that crossover would appear to be.

Are we speaking Sonic characters battling with Pokemon? I personally do not suppose Sonic would run Shaymin simply because it is a hedgehog, most likely extra one thing like Jolteon which is the sixth quickest Pokemon, and matches that Cool Man vibe Sonic has. Or possibly it could be “this is what Knuckles seems to be like as a Pokemon” state of affairs. Who is aware of! Both manner, it is a enjoyable trailer that gives up extra of a take a look at the Chao themed restaurant that Workforce Sonic goes to, which I might argue is crucial factor in the whole factor. Although there may be one unhappy matchcut of Shadow with future-dead-girl Maria, so these of you that prefer to cry about Sonic characters (I am together with myself right here, this is not a dunk) will get one thing out of it too.
There’s clearly tons to stay up for within the movie exterior of simply what’s within the trailers too, because the movie’s director Jeff Fowler teased that there will be a tease within the movie itself for extra characters that’ll seem in future sequence instalments (and whereas he did not verify it, my cash’s on Huge the Cat).
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is due out in cinemas December 20, subsequent month.
